Pictured above is the new basketball practice facility, which is currently being constructed directly behind the Vines Center.

Workers have been busy in and around the Vines Center in recent weeks, chipping away at two different projects. A considerable amount of steel has been set into place for the new basketball practice facility behind the Vines Center, while the playing surface has been completely refinished and repainted.

When completed later this fall, the first phase of the basketball practice facility will include a total of three courts and 16 goals. The next phase of construction will focus on the addition of office space and meeting space above the courts.

To keep an eye on the practice facility construction, view the university's constuction cameras.

The playing floor inside the Vines Center will look similar to how it did in 2011-12, featuring red baselines, blue foul lanes and a large Liberty Flames logo at center court.
