Liberty swimming head coach Jake Shellenberger has announced the addition of two student-athletes to the Lady Flames' swimming program. Emilie Kaufman and Jess Reinhardt will attend Liberty and compete starting in the 2012-13 academic year.

Kaufman and Reinhardt join a group of incoming swimmers which also includes: Laura Day, Ranndi Grubbs, Kendall Hough and Hannah Wakeley. Day, Grubbs, Hough and Wakeley all signed national letters of intent during the fall signing period.

"We are very happy with the 2012 class as a whole," Shellenberger said. "Jessica Barnes, our recruiting coordinator, has put together a standout class that includes two Olympic Trials qualifiers and a great mix of national-level athletes and those with the potential to become national-level athletes. Their development will be limited only by their desire for greatness and their willingness to dream."

Shellenberger added, "This class continues to raise the bar and is the most talented of the three classes we have brought in thus far, telling club coaches nationwide that we are serious about our national-level aspirations."
