With approximately a month remaining in Liberty lacrosse's schedule, Nick Pierce caught up with head coach Regan Denham and freshman defender Hillary Bullock.

The Lady Flames are 2-8 this season and will wrap up the year with their National Lacrosse Conference slate.  Liberty is 1-1 so far in the NLC, benefiting from a Howard forfeit.

Pierce and Denham recap the season up to this point, while also looking ahead at the team's remaining conference schedule.  Denham highlights recent Lady Flame practices and explains some defensive changes the team has adapted to this season.  Liberty's third-year coach also talks about the staff and team settling in to the new Campus East Field House.

Bullock concludes the interview by talking with Pierce about the benefits the team has, now that they are located next to their playing field.  The Cazenovia, N.Y., native also talks about how she has become acclimated to Division I lacrosse, along with how important communication is on the defensive end.

The Lady Flames host both Jacksonville and Presbyterian College next weekend, as they continue with NLC action.  Liberty and Jacksonville's opening draw is slated for 7 p.m., Friday, April 13, while the Lady Flames and Blue Hose square off at 1 p.m., Sunday, April 15.
