No. 1 seed Liberty will square off with No. 5 seed Charleston Southern in Saturday's first semifinal at the Big South Women's Basketball Championship. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. inside High Point's Millis Center, as both teams will be battling for a spot in Sunday's championship game.

Matchup Notes
-- Liberty Head Coach Carey Green is now 308-102 in his 13th season with the Lady Flames, including 28-1 against Charleston Southern.

-- Charleston Southern Head Coach Julie Goodenough is now 78-103 in her sixth season with the Lady Buccaneers, including 1-12 against Liberty.

-- Liberty is 45-6 all-time against Charleston Southern, including 5-0 in the Big South Championship and 2-0 this season.

-- The Lady Flames' last meeting with CSU in the Big South Championship was a 74-64 triumph in the 2009 quarterfinal round at the Millis Center.

-- In that game, freshman Avery Warley posted eight points and nine rebounds in her Big South Championship debut.

-- Warley finished the game with a season-high 26 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, while shooting a perfect 12-of-12 from the foul line. Twenty-two of her points came during the second half.

-- On Feb. 11 at Liberty, the Lady Flames needed double overtime to post a 77-69 win over Charleston Southern.

-- Reagan Miller starred in that contest, finishing with a career-high 23 points for the Lady Flames. She had five three-pointers on the day, including one with 53 seconds left in regulation that forced overtime.

-- Avery Warley added a career-high 23 rebounds for the Lady Flames, tying the Vines Center record. Danika Dale scored nine of her 12 points during the two overtime periods.

Big South Championship Notes
-- Liberty has reached the Big South Championship semifinal round for the 16th straight year.

-- The Lady Flames are 14-3 all-time in the Big South semifinals and have won each of their last four semifinal contests.

-- Liberty is 39-1 all-time in the Big South Championship when favored according to seed.

-- Liberty is 12-2 at the Millis Center since the start of the 2008-09 season, including 9-1 in the Big South Championship.

-- The Lady Flames will look to continue a streak which has seen either Liberty or Radford play in the Big South Championship title game every time it has been contested.

A Look Back at Friday's Win over UNC Asheville
-- Liberty never trailed in the game after posting an early 16-0 run on its way to a 71-50 win over UNC Asheville.

-- The Lady Flames have now won five straight games overall, 11 straight matchups against Asheville and 16 straight Big South Championship openers.

-- Liberty, which leads the nation in rebound margin, outrebounded the Bulldogs by a 48-26 count. The rebounding number included 23 offensive boards, which led to 20 second-chance points.

-- Liberty has now outrebounded eight straight opponents and 56 of its last 57, dating back to last season.

-- The Lady Flames held Asheville to 34 percent (17-of-50) field goal shooting. Liberty, which ranks No. 8 nationally for field goal percentage defense, has now held 52 straight opponents below 50 percent from the field.

-- Liberty's bench outscored Asheville's reserves by a 25-9 count. It was the sixth time this season that the Lady Flames have notched 20 or more bench points against a Big South opponent.

-- The Lady Flames tallied 32 points in the paint to the Bulldogs' 14. No Big South opponent has outscored Liberty in the paint this season.

-- In her last three games, Washington is averaging 10.3 ppg and shooting 63.6 percent (7-of-11) from three-point range.

-- In her two games at the Millis Center this year, Washington is averaging 9.0 ppg and shooting 66.7 percent (4-of-6) on three-pointers.

-- She has made as many three-pointers this year (24) as she had during her first two seasons combined.

#5 Reagan Miller

-- Miller scored all 10 of her points during the second half.

-- Her 21 minutes played were her fewest since Nov. 22, when she played 19 minutes against Virginia-Wise.

-- She hit a pair of three-pointers, boosting her season total to 55. With two more triples, Miller would move up to No. 4 on Liberty's single-season list. With three triples, she would claim the No. 3 spot on the list.

-- Miller has now made her last 12 free throws in a row and 23 of her last 24 tries from the charity stripe.

-- The last time she faced Charleston Southern (Feb. 11), Miller scored a career-high 23 points and hit five three-pointers. One of those triples came with 53 seconds left in regulation, tying the game and sending it to overtime.

-- Dale was the lone Lady Flame to play more than 22 minutes on Friday, finishing with 28 minutes played.

-- She played a career-high 41 minutes during Liberty's Feb. 11 double-overtime victory over Charleston Southern, posting 12 points, five rebounds and a career-high seven assists. She had nine of her 12 points during the two overtime sessions.

#22 Tolu Omotola

-- Omotola's five points tied her with Amber Mays for 50th place on Liberty's career scoring list. Omotola has tallied 522 points in her first two seasons with the Lady Flames.

-- Omotola is now tied with Angie Johnson for 37th place in program history with 389 career rebounds.

-- Played well in both games against Charleston Southern this year, posting 15 points and eight rebounds on Jan. 16 and tallying 11 points and nine rebounds on Feb. 11.

#23 Avery Warley

-- Warley paced the Lady Flames in both points and rebounds on Friday.

-- She passed Katie Feenstra as Liberty's all-time leading rebounder in Big South Championship play. Warley has totaled 113 rebounds in 10 career Big South Championship outings.

-- Warley's double-double was her 13th of the season and the 45th of her career. Liberty is 38-7 when she notches a double-double, including 11-2 this year.

-- She became the fifth Lady Flame ever to surpass 1,400 career points. Warley has now totaled 1,413 points.

-- Warley has now grabbed 337 rebounds this season. That ranks her No. 3 in program history and No. 4 in Big South history.

-- Warley ranks No. 8 nationally in rebounding this season.

-- Warley starred in both of Liberty's wins over Charleston Southern this year. On Jan. 16, she scored 22 of her season-high 26 points during the second half and added 13 rebounds. Warley shot 12-of-12 from the free throw line in that game.

-- On Feb. 11, Warley finished with 14 points and a career-high 23 rebounds in a double-overtime win over the Lady Buccaneers.

-- On Saturday, Warley will try to replicate her performance from last year's Big South semifinal win over High Point. That day, she scored a career-high 28 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked four shots in Liberty's victory. Warley's last point of the game was No. 1,000 of her career.

-- Her two blocked shots against Asheville tied her career high.

-- With four assists versus Asheville, Brown now has 83 on the season. That equals her assist total from her first two seasons combined.

-- Brown recorded a double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds) during Liberty's double-overtime victory over Charleston Southern on Feb. 11.
