No. 1 seed Liberty will square off with No. 5 seed Charleston Southern in Saturday's first semifinal at the Big South Women's Basketball Championship. Tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. inside High Point's Millis Center, as both teams will be battling for a spot in Sunday's championship game.
Matchup Notes
-- Liberty Head Coach Carey Green is now 308-102 in his 13th season with the Lady Flames, including 28-1 against Charleston Southern.
-- Charleston Southern Head Coach Julie Goodenough is now 78-103 in her sixth season with the Lady Buccaneers, including 1-12 against Liberty.
-- Liberty is 45-6 all-time against Charleston Southern, including 5-0 in the Big South Championship and 2-0 this season.
-- The Lady Flames' last meeting with CSU in the Big South Championship was a 74-64 triumph in the 2009 quarterfinal round at the Millis Center.

A Look Back at Friday's Win over UNC Asheville
-- Liberty never trailed in the game after posting an early 16-0 run on its way to a 71-50 win over UNC Asheville.
-- The Lady Flames have now won five straight games overall, 11 straight matchups against Asheville and 16 straight Big South Championship openers.
-- Liberty, which leads the nation in rebound margin, outrebounded the Bulldogs by a 48-26 count. The rebounding number included 23 offensive boards, which led to 20 second-chance points.
-- Liberty has now outrebounded eight straight opponents and 56 of its last 57, dating back to last season.
-- The Lady Flames held Asheville to 34 percent (17-of-50) field goal shooting. Liberty, which ranks No. 8 nationally for field goal percentage defense, has now held 52 straight opponents below 50 percent from the field.
-- Liberty's bench outscored Asheville's reserves by a 25-9 count. It was the sixth time this season that the Lady Flames have notched 20 or more bench points against a Big South opponent.

-- Her 21 minutes played were her fewest since Nov. 22, when she played 19 minutes against Virginia-Wise.

#22 Tolu Omotola

-- Omotola's five points tied her with Amber Mays for 50th place on Liberty's career scoring list. Omotola has tallied 522 points in her first two seasons with the Lady Flames.
-- Omotola is now tied with Angie Johnson for 37th place in program history with 389 career rebounds.
-- Played well in both games against Charleston Southern this year, posting 15 points and eight rebounds on Jan. 16 and tallying 11 points and nine rebounds on Feb. 11.
#23 Avery Warley

-- Warley paced the Lady Flames in both points and rebounds on Friday.
-- She passed Katie Feenstra as Liberty's all-time leading rebounder in Big South Championship play. Warley has totaled 113 rebounds in 10 career Big South Championship outings.
-- Warley's double-double was her 13th of the season and the 45th of her career. Liberty is 38-7 when she notches a double-double, including 11-2 this year.
-- She became the fifth Lady Flame ever to surpass 1,400 career points. Warley has now totaled 1,413 points.
-- Warley has now grabbed 337 rebounds this season. That ranks her No. 3 in program history and No. 4 in Big South history.
-- Warley ranks No. 8 nationally in rebounding this season.
