Alyssa DiMartino has yielded three hits to North Dakota State through four innings of work, before the game was suspended.

The softball game featuring Liberty and North Dakota State, played in College Station, Texas, has been suspended due to rain. The contest will be finished from the point of interruption later during this weekend's Aggie Invitational.

North Dakota State held a 1-0 lead after four innings before the game was called. The Bison scored the game's lone run to this point, when Brandi Enriquez crossed the plate on a wild pitch in the third inning.

The game has been a pitchers' duel, with three hits registered, all by North Dakota State. Liberty's Alyssa DiMartino has allowed one run on four hits, striking out a pair. For the Bison, Krista Menke has held the Lady Flames without a hit, walking one and fanning five batters.

Due to the continued inclement weather, the schedule for the invitational continues to change.

All further schedule updates will be posted on the Liberty Flames Twitter page, with adjustments to be made to the softball schedule on LibertyFlames.com.
