Flames Club Luncheon Set For December 1
Liberty University Athletics continues the 2006-07 Flames Club luncheon season Friday, December 1 at the Williams Football Operations Center.

The Flames Club has achieved record numbers this year, with 280 members contributing over $240,000 to help underwrite the cost of athletics scholarships. Not included in those numbers are the current 557 members of the new Student Flames Club. First among the list of featured speakers at the December 1st luncheon will be head football coach, Danny Rocco, who will discuss the recent conclusion of the season and the outlook for next year.

Women's Basketball Coach Carey Green and Men's Basketball Coach Randy Dunton will then each give an early-season update for their respective teams, and preview the upcoming contests.

The Flames Club serves as the booster organization for Liberty University Athletics and meets once a month on a designated Friday during the athletic season. The luncheons run from noon to 1:30 p.m. and a buffet lunch is provided for a $10 cover charge. Select coaches speak each week, giving insight into the progress of their programs, presenting video highlights and taking questions from those present.

Discount advance tickets are available for each luncheon, and season passes may be purchased for the remaining nine luncheons scheduled for only $49. Season passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tickets and season passes may be purchased by calling 582-SEAT e-mailing tickets@liberty.edu, or by visiting the Hancock Ticket Office.

The luncheons are sponsored by UBS Financial Services, with door prizes provided by the Liberty University Bookstore. The remaining 2006-07 Flames Club Luncheon schedule is as follows:
