Reagan Miller averaged 10.5 ppg during the team's weekend road trip, earning her second straight Big South Freshman of the Week award.

For the second week in a row, Liberty point guard Reagan Miller has been honored as the Big South Conference The Crons Brand Freshman of the Week, it was announced today.

Miller becomes the first Lady Flame to win back-to-back Big South Freshman of the Week accolades since Jelena Antic on Jan. 12 and 19, 2010. The Sanger, Texas native is also the first Liberty player to be a three-time Big South Freshman of the Week since Antic in 2009-10.

Miller helped Liberty go 1-1 on its road trip to Winthrop and Presbyterian College, averaging 10.5 ppg and 3.5 apg. She shot the ball well from both three-point range (4-of-8) and at the foul line (7-of-8) for the week.

After scoring eight points during Saturday's setback at Winthrop, Miller's best performance of the week came Monday night at Presbyterian College. She scored eight of her 13 points after halftime and made all four of her free throw attempts during the last minute and a half. Miller also led all players with five assists, helping the Lady Flames snap a four-game winning streak by the Blue Hose.

Miller continues to rank among the Big South leaders in several categories, sitting fourth in three-point field goal percentage (.379), fifth in assists (4.0 apg) and seventh in three-point field goals made (1.81/game).

Miller's 103 assists are the most by a Liberty freshman since Sarah Wilkerson dished out 154 helpers in 1996-97. Additionally, her 47 three-pointers are the most by a Lady Flames rookie since Elena Kisseleva knocked down 48 triples in 1996-97.

Miller and the Lady Flames are now 18-8 overall and 13-2 in the Big South, giving them a three and a half game lead in the conference standings. Liberty will have a chance to clinch the No. 1 seed for the Big South Women's Basketball Championship if the Lady Flames defeat Gardner-Webb, Saturday at 4 p.m. inside the Vines Center.

Saturday's game will be the first half of a basketball doubleheader at the Vines Center, which will conclude with a Liberty men's basketball game against Campbell at 7 p.m. The Lady Flames will also celebrate Senior Day on Saturday, recognizing the duo of Danika Dale and Avery Warley prior to tipoff.
