On the heels of the Liberty women's basketball team's 2-0 homestand, Nick Pierce caught up with head coach Carey Green.

The Lady Flames' Saturday afternoon contest against Charleston Southern turned into their first double overtime game in more than eight years. In the end, Liberty pulled out a 77-69 double overtime victory, thanks in large part to Big South Freshman of the Week Reagan Miller's career-high 23 points and Avery Warley's career-best 23 rebounds.

Last night, Liberty recorded its 38th straight win in its head-to-head series with a 66-54 triumph over Coastal Carolina. Devon Brown led the way, finishing with a season-high 27 points and a game-high 10 rebounds for the Lady Flames.

Now 17-7 overall and 12-1 in Big South play, the Lady Flames are preparing for their final road trip of the regular season. Liberty will play at Winthrop Saturday at 1 p.m. and travel to Presbyterian College Monday at 7 p.m.
