Brye Ravettine won each race she contested during the Davidson Duals on Saturday.

Liberty sophomore Brye Ravettine was named Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association (CCSA) Swimmer of the Week on Tuesday, for her efforts in leading the Lady Flames to a 7-0 record in conference meets over the weekend.

A native of Mahwah, N.J., Ravettine wins swimmer of the week honors for the second time in her career. She was named CCSA Swimmer of the Week once as a freshman. Earlier this season, on Oct. 26, Liberty freshman Erin Curry earned weekly honors from the conference.

Ravettine won the 50 and 100 free at Saturday's Davidson Duals, helping Liberty claim victory over all six opponents at the meet. She swam a winning time of 23.69 in the 50 free, and won the 100 free in 53.09. She also led off Liberty's winning 200 medley relay, and anchored the victorious 400 free relay that proved pivotal in edging Georgia Southern for the team's final dual victory.

On Friday at Gardner-Webb, she swam anchor leg as the Lady Flames placed first in the 400 free relay. Liberty defeated the Runnin' Bulldogs, 119-86.

The Lady Flames (12-2, 9-1 CCSA) will next compete in the CCSA Swimming and Diving Championships, held Feb. 16-18 at the University of Georgia's Gabrielsen Natatorium.
