LibertyFlames.com's Nick Pierce sat down with Liberty volleyball head coach and senior libero Kelly Haseman for an interview, a portion of which originally aired on the Flames SportsDesk. The interview served as a season recap, as Pinder and Haseman both recalled highlights from the 2011 season.

Coach Pinder has recently been named the VaSID All-State Coach of the Year, while Haseman was one of four players to be named to the VaSID All-State Volleyball Team.

The 2011 Liberty Lady Flames made their Big South-record sixth appearance in the NCAA Tournament, posting a 20-13 record. Liberty won 20 matches for the fifth year in a row, and also earned its fifth straight Big South regular-season title (a league record) and qualified for the conference final for the fifth year running.
