After a one-week hiatus, Liberty returned to the CollegeInsider.com Women's Mid-Major Top 25 poll this week in the No. 24 spot.

The 3-3 Lady Flames, who have been ranked as highly as No. 18 this year, are the lone Big South Conference team listed in this week's poll. Radford is included among "others receiving votes."

Green Bay (5-0) retains its stranglehold on the No. 1 ranking, earning 28 of 31 first-place votes. The Women's Mid-Major Top 25, now in its second year of existence, is comprised of teams from the America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Colonial, Great West, Horizon, Independents, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt and West Coast Conference.

The Lady Flames went 2-1 this past week, including blowout victories over Virginia-Wise (82-39 on Nov. 22) and Lipscomb (70-27 on Nov. 26) and a 76-45 loss to national No. 12/14 Oklahoma on Nov. 25. The latter two contests took place at the Vanderbilt Thanksgiving Tournament in Nashville, Tenn., where Liberty finished third and junior guard LaKendra Washington took home all-tournament team honors.

Liberty will now prepare for a Women's Mid-Major Top 25 showdown Thursday evening at the Vines Center against James Madison. The Dukes, who currently own a 4-0 record, are ranked No. 5 in this week's poll. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
