Notes and Anecdotes
-- Both Liberty head coach Carey Green and Lipscomb head coach Frank Bennett are approaching career milestones. Green is 12 wins away from 300, while Bennett is just two games away from coaching his 1,000th career contest.

-- One of Lipscomb's former conference rivals, Campbell, joined the Big South Conference this season. The Lady Flames will battle the Camels on Jan. 9 and Feb. 4.

-- Lipscomb (4 miles) will have a lot shorter to travel this weekend than Liberty (487 miles) and Oklahoma (600 miles).

-- Lipscomb has another Big South opponent on the schedule this season. Gardner-Webb is scheduled to visit Nashville to face the Bisons on Dec. 18.

Looking Ahead to Lipscomb:
-- Liberty will be playing a first-time opponent for the second day in a row, after facing Oklahoma for the first time in program history on Friday.

-- It will be the Lady Flames' first meeting against an Atlantic Sun opponent since posting a 64-54 home win over East Tennessee State on Jan. 13, 2009.

-- The Lady Flames will attempt to post their second consecutive third-place finish at a regular-season tournament, after coming in third at the Terrapin Classic, Dec. 28-29, 2010 in College Park, Md.

-- Liberty will aim to finish the month of November at 3-3 and avoid its first losing record in November since the 2008-09 Lady Flames went 1-4 during the month.

-- The Lady Flames will be in search of their first win against a Division I opponent since the season-opening 61-46 victory at UNC Greensboro on Nov. 11.

-- Liberty fell to 4-34 all-time against Top 25 opponents.

-- Three Lady Flames (Catherine Kearney, Terika Lunsford and Avery Warley) each grabbed 10 rebounds on Friday. It was the first time three Liberty players have posted double-figure rebounds in the same game since Dec. 29, 2008. That day, Megan Frazee had 12 rebounds, Avery Warley had 11 and Kylee Beecher had 10 in a 72-58 win over North Carolina A&T in the first round of the Hokie Hardwood Classic in Blacksburg, Va.

-- All nine Lady Flames who dressed for the game played at least 12 minutes and scored at least two points.
