The Flames Weekend Wrap-Up returns today and looks back at Liberty's season-ending 41-31 setback to Stony Brook on Saturday on Long Island inside of LaValle Stadium.

The game featured a match-up of a pair of teams with 5-0 Big South records for the first time in conference history. With the victory, Stony Brook became the first team in Big South history to finish conference play 6-0 and gave the league it first outright champion since the 2008 season.

The loss ended Liberty's four-year run as Big South title holders and marked just the second time in six seasons the Flames have finished the season on a losing note since head coach Danny Rocco took over the program in 2006.

The contest also brought to a close the four-year careers for 17 seniors on Liberty's roster. This year's senior class finishes their careers with a 33-12 overall record, a 20-3 mark in Big South play and three Big South titles (2008, 2009 and 2010).

This year's graduating class is the second winningest senior class in program history, finishing just behind last year's senior class that completed their four-year run at Liberty with a 34-11 overall record. The group is only the third senior class in program history to win more than 30 games during their four-year careers (2009: 32-13; 2010: 34-11).
