Flames Ranked in South Atlantic Region Poll

The 2011 Big South Champion Liberty men's soccer team has been ranked among the South Atlantic Region's top teams in the latest regional rankings, released yesterday.

The Flames return to the NSCAA regional rankings after capturing its second Big South Conference title and an automatic berth in the 2011 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship.  Liberty is listed 10th in the region. Boston College heads the regional poll.

Liberty will face Old Dominion, ranked third in this week's regional poll, Thursday in Norfolk, Va., in the opening round of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. Match time at ODU Soccer Complex is scheduled for 7 p.m. The winner advances to face the No. 16 seed Indiana Hoosiers, Sunday in Bloomington, Ind.
