Liberty volleyball head coach and senior defensive specialist Courtney Cooper both spoke with LibertyFlames.com's Nick Pierce.

The Liberty volleyball team leads the Big South standings, entering the final week of the regular season. The Lady Flames (16-11) have won seven straight matches, all in Big South play, to raise their conference record to 11-1.

Liberty pulled out a 3-2 victory over Campbell on Friday night at Liberty Christian Academy. The team then celebrated Senior Day on Saturday at the Vines Center, posting a 3-0 sweep over High Point to avenge their lone league loss thus far this season.

LibertyFlames.com's Nick Pierce sat down with Liberty head volleyball coach Shane Pinder, along with senior defensive specialist Courtney Cooper to discuss the team's recent success. Pinder and Cooper also spoke about the team's Senior Day victory and provided a preview for this coming weekend's matches.

The Lady Flames close their regular season on the road, traveling to face Gardner-Webb on Friday before playing at UNC Asheville, Saturday. Both of this weekend's matches are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
