Liberty women's soccer forwards Kelly Henion and Helena Pereira have been named to the Big South Women's Soccer All-Tournament team, as announced by the conference office.

Both players were instrumental in leading Liberty to a 2-1 overtime against No. 4 High Point in the Big South Championship quarterfinals, last Thursday. Henion put Liberty on the board in the 20th minute after receiving a crossing pass from Silvia Betancourt. The goal gave Liberty a 1-0 lead until the Panthers knotted the contest in the second half to force the extra period. Henion finished the 2011 season with four goals, two assists and 10 points.

Pereira was the hero of the quarterfinals, scoring the game-winning goal in the 93rd minute. Upon receiving a crossing pass from Aimee Luurtsema, Pereira immediately fired a shot into the upper left corner for the golden goal win. The freshman concluded the year with two goals for a total of four points.
