Liberty head coach Shane Pinder guides the Lady Flames as they face Radford, Friday at 7 p.m. in the Vines Center.

Liberty earned a 3-2 win at Winthrop, Friday night, moving into sole possession of first place in the Big South. The Lady Flames then swept Presbyterian College, 3-0, on Saturday to advance their conference record to 8-1.

LibertyFlames.com's Nick Pierce sat down with Liberty volleyball head coach Shane Pinder, along with sophomore setter Jade Craycraft, for a pair of interviews. The interviews covered the Lady Flames' 2-0 weekend, along with highlights from the season to date, and a look toward Friday's home match against Radford.

Earlier on Monday, Loren Thomas was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week, after she posted 18 blocks over two matches last week. Thomas registered a program rally-scoring-record 13 blocks Friday at Winthrop.

The Lady Flames play their next three matches at home, starting with a 7 p.m. contest, Friday at the Vines Center. Friday's match serves as Liberty's "Dig Pink" breast cancer awareness match, as the Lady Flames host Radford in Big South conference action.
