Sports Network Top 25 poll

FCS Coaches Top 25 poll

Four-straight victories, all by sizeable margins, has helped Liberty climb back into both the Sports Network and FCS Coaches Top 25 polls, with both organizations releasing their weekly polls earlier today.

After their 38-16 Big South road victory over Charleston Southern, this past weekend, Liberty currently ranks No. 23 in the latest Sports Network poll and No. 24 in this week's FCS Coaches listing.

This past weekend saw nine Top 25 programs fall, helping four new programs crack the Sports Network Top 25 listing and three fresh faces in the FCS Coaches listing.

The Flames have been outside the Top 25 in the Sports Network poll since dropping a 27-24 decision to James Madison on Sept. 17. Liberty fell outside the FCS Coaches listing after falling by the same margin, 27-24, a week later at Lehigh.

Both Lehigh (No. 7/6) and James Madison (No. 9/10) have continued to surge since defeating the Flames and are currently listed inside both polls Top 10 rankings.

The Sports Network and FCS Coaches polls mirror each other in terms of Top five listings, starting with unbeaten Georgia Southern. The Eagles moved to 7-0 this season following a 48-14 victory over Presbyterian College, Liberty's Big South foe this weekend.

Following behind Georgia Southern in both listings is No. 2 Northern Iowa, No. 3 North Dakota State, No. 4 Montana State and No. 5 Appalachian State.

No. 23/24 Liberty will put its unblemished Big South record on the line this weekend when they welcome previous mentioned Presbyterian College. Kickoff inside of Williams Stadium for the conference clash is set for 3:30 p.m.
