The 2011 Lady Flames won their second straight team title at the Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships.

The Liberty women's track & field team has been named a 2011 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division I All-Academic Team, it was announced today.

Head coach Brant Tolsma's Lady Flames were one of 164 squads nationally to earn a spot on the list, thanks to a cumulative team GPA of 3.18 for the 2010-11 academic year.

Senior Dacia Bushman and juniors Olivia Charnuski and Jennifer Klugh were among Liberty's top academic performers this past year. Bushman and Klugh both earned a spot on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team. Meanwhile, Klugh (indoor track & field) and Charnuski (outdoor track & field) were Liberty's representatives on the Big South All-Academic Team.

On the track, the Lady Flames successfully repeated as team champions at the Big South Indoor Track & Field Championships. Liberty then placed second at the Big South Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
