Incoming freshman Maddie Boone, a four-year letter winner at Lexington Christian Academy, was recently tabbed the National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) Player of the Year.

With the 2011 Liberty women's soccer season less than two months away, incoming freshman Maddie Boone, a four-year letterwinner at Lexington Christian Academy (Lexington, Ky.), capped her stellar high school career by being named the National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) Player of the Year.

Boone's outstanding achievement marks her second player of the year honor. A four-time NCSAA All-American selection, she was also named the NCSAA National Player of the Year during the 2008-09 season.

This past season, Boone led her team to the Kentucky state championship, finishing her high school career as the program's assists leader (54) and second in scoring (72). The midfielder capped off her tenure at Lexington Christian Academy with a team-leading 20 goals and 21 assists. In addition to being a member of the all-state tournament team four straight years, the Kentucky native is also a four-time state champion at the club level (Mockingbird Valley, S.C.).
