Tyler Bream

Liberty third baseman Tyler Bream was featured in a recent story by WHP-TV in Harrisburg, Pa.

The third baseman's father Sid Bream, an All-American at Liberty and former Major Leaguer, grew up in Molly Springs, Pa., about 25 miles from the Pennsylvania state capital.  Sid Bream attended Carlisle High School, where he was a standout in baseball.

The story by WHP Sports Director Jason Bristol looks at Tyler following his father to Liberty for baseball and the bond of baseball the two share.

Tyler Bream has been a three-year starter for the Flames.  As a freshman, he was named to the 2009 Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American team and last season, was named All-Big South at third base, while breaking Liberty's single-season record for hits with 96.
