Construction of the framework for Liberty baseball's new scoreboard.

Initial construction steps for the new baseball scoreboard are well underway at Liberty University's Worthington Stadium, with the framework for the Flames' new board currently being erected just outside the left-center field wall.

Shortly after construction of the support system is complete, installation of the scoreboard will follow.   The goal is to have the scoreboard portion ready for the Flames' next mid-week game, this Wednesday against James Madison.  This portion will display traditional information, such as inning-by-inning scores and balls and strikes.

The video board portion, which will measure 14.5' high x 35' wide, has a goal of being operational for Liberty's series with Presbyterian College, which is slated for April 15-17.  This segment of the board will be able to provide updated in-game and season statistics.  Additionally, various video capabilities will be available with the video portion of the board.
