Kaylee West will be up to bat with an 0-2 count when the Liberty vs. Radford game resumes on April 28.

Liberty's road contest on March 23 against Radford that was halted in the top of the eighth due to severe weather will be completed at RU Softball Field on April 28 at 6 p.m.

The Big South opener for both squads was tied at 3-3 with one out in the top of the eighth.

With an 0-2 count on Kaylee West, lightning was detected nearby. The game was stopped, and about 20 minutes later, a heavy downpour ensued and the game was officially postponed. The contest will resume from that exact moment.

These teams will face off on tomorrow for what was originally the conclusion of the regular season series. First pitch of the doubleheader at Liberty Softball Field will be at 1 p.m.
