Valeriya Klintsevich is 2-0 in doubles matches this year, teaming with Carol Lobel for both victories in the No. 3 spot.

The Lady Flames have one contest on tab for their second week of competition, as they travel to Davidson, N.C., on Thursday for a match with Southern Conference member, Davidson.

In their opening weekend, the Lady Flames posted a 1-1 record. After dropping their opener to Appalachian State, 2-5, Liberty defeated West Virginia, 5-2. Both matches were contested at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va.

Jordan Jenkins went 3-0 to begin her senior campaign, while freshman Cameron Richard posted a 3-1 record. The two paired together for two doubles victories in the No. 1 spot. Their accolades for the week earned them Big South weekly honors, with Jenkins being named the women's tennis Player of the Week and Richard garnering Freshman of the Week honors.

Liberty has started the season competing well in doubles play, having taken the doubles point in each of their contests with a 5-1 record.

The Lady Flames will travel to Davidson looking for the program's first win against the Wildcats. Liberty is 0-7 all-time against Davidson, including their last meeting in 2009, where the Wildcats took the match, 5-2.

Davidson will welcome Liberty to its home courts, where they have already held five matches this spring. The Wildcats are 3-2, and have matched up with three teams that the Lady Flames will see in Big South contests later in the year. Gardner-Webb defeated Davidson, 4-3, while Davidson was able to come out on top against Radford, 5-2, and UNC Asheville, 4-3.

Davidson finished the 2010 season with a 15-8 record, including a 7-3 mark for a fourth place finish in the Southern Conference. While the Wildcats lost three starters from last season, they have brought in five newcomers, which is the same as the Lady Flames.
