With the Liberty men's and women's basketball teams both preparing for weekend home games, the Flames Sports Hotline will return Tuesday at 7 p.m. Alan York will welcome assistant men's basketball coach Jason Eaker and head women's basketball coach Carey Green to the show, to discuss their respective teams.

The Flames Sports Hotline, a weekly radio call-in show, airs on Victory FM (88.3 FM), the flagship station for the Flames Sports Radio Network.

The weekly show is usually hosted locally in Lynchburg on Liberty University's campus at Doc's Diner, and the restaurant is open to the general public. The show is broadcast live throughout the 50's-style diner and fans are encouraged to participate during the call-in segments.

York, the new radio "Voice of the Flames," will host the 60-minute call-in show. Eaker will join him for the first 40 minutes of the program, with Green featured for the final 20 minutes.

At 11-2 in Big South Conference action, the Liberty men's basketball team sits in second place in the Big South Conference standings. Liberty is preparing for its final two conference home games of the regular season. The Flames will play host to Radford Thursday at 7 p.m., followed by a visit from High Point Saturday at 8 p.m.

Meanwhile, Green's Lady Flames are in sole possession of first place in the Big South, at 8-1. Liberty will welcome Gardner-Webb to the Vines Center Saturday at 5 p.m. and host Winthrop in the WBCA Pink Zone contest Monday at 7 p.m.

Those not able to participate in the call-in portion of the show are encouraged to email their questions for Eaker and Green to FlamesHotline@liberty.edu, prior to the start of the show, or send direct messages to York's Twitter page (www.twitter.com/luradiopxp).

Flames fans can listen to the show locally by tuning their radio dials to 88.3 FM Victory FM or one of the local affiliates for the Victory FM Radio Network. The show will also air live online at LibertyFlames.com and can be heard by clicking on the link above.
