Liberty women's basketball forward Danika Dale is featured on BigSouthSports.com today, as this month's "Musco Women's Spotlight." The series is presented by the Big South Conference and Musco Sports Lighting.

The article, penned by Big South Conference Public Relations Assistant Deandra Danch, discusses the Lady Flames' trip to Israel this past summer for the Friendship Games. Dale, a junior, was one of three Lady Flames who played for the Palestine squad, which was short on players.

Dale also suited up for Liberty's team, which went undefeated and captured the Friendship Games title. In addition, the Lady Flames also toured the Holy Land, visiting sites including the Sea of Galilee, Jordan River, Mount of Olives and Garden of Gethsemane.

Dale and the Lady Flames are 8-7 overall and 3-0 in Big South Conference action, tying them with Radford for first place. Liberty will play its final non-conference game of the season tonight at 7 p.m., when the Lady Flames travel east on Route 460 to face Longwood.
