The Liberty women's basketball team has won a season-high four games in a row and is tied atop the Big South Conference standings at 3-0. Nick Pierce caught up with freshman point guard Emily Frazier and head coach Carey Green to chat about the Lady Flames' recent victories and preview upcoming contests with Longwood and Radford.

Frazier, a two-time Big South Freshman of the Week, leads the Lady Flames and ranks No. 9 in the Big South with 2.7 assists per game. She has also been one of the team's most accurate shooters, making six of her last nine three-point attempts (66.7 percent) and 18 of her last 20 free throws (90 percent).

The Lady Flames picked up two Big South Conference road wins in less than 24 hours this weekend, recording a 51-40 victory at Presbyterian College Saturday and a 61-44 triumph at UNC Asheville Sunday.

Liberty is now tied with Radford for first place in the Big South at 3-0. The Lady Flames will play host to the Highlanders Monday at 7 p.m., in their first home game at the Vines Center since Nov. 30.

Before that, however, Liberty will wrap up its nine-game road swing and the non-conference portion of its 2010-11 schedule Friday at 7 p.m., with a contest at local rival Longwood.
