Liberty point guard Emily Frazier has been tabbed The Crons Brand Big South Conference Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week for games played Dec. 21-Jan. 4, it was announced today.

Frazier is now a two-time Big South Freshman of the Week, after previously winning the award on Nov. 30. She has helped Liberty win three of its last four games, averaging 10.0 ppg, 3.8 apg and 2.5 rpg during the stretch. The Magnolia, Texas native twice increased her career high for points during the span, tallying 12 points at VCU on Dec. 21 and 14 markers versus La Salle on Dec. 29. Last night, Frazier distributed a career-high eight assists in the Lady Flames' victory at High Point in the Big South Conference opener. For the season, Frazier ranks ninth in the Big South (second among freshmen) with 2.7 assists per game.

Liberty (6-7, 1-0 Big South) will continue its nine-game road swing Saturday, when the Lady Flames play a Big South contest at Presbyterian College. Tipoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Templeton Center.
