Baseball Announces "College for a Weekend" Camp
The Liberty University Baseball staff has announced that the program will once again hold a College for a Weekend Baseball Camp on October 6-7.

The camp provides an excellent opportunity for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors who may be interested in Liberty University to see what LU is all about, while giving them the opportunity to improve their skills and compete against other campers in game situations.

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and will provide instruction in all facets of the game of baseball. Friday will concentrate on skill instruction; while Saturday campers will play games throughout the day.

The cost of the camp is $145.00 and covers the camp only. Lodging and meals will be provided by signing up for Liberty's College for a Weekend.  Campers will get to find out what Liberty University is all about and take part in various activities including a live concert by Mercy Me by participating in College for a Weekend.  The cost is $50.00 and sign up is handled by Liberty Admissions.  You can sign up by going to www.liberty.edu and clicking Admissions.

Registration for College for the Weekend is not required to attend the baseball camp.

Application forms and the schedule for the camp are available by clicking on the 2006 CFAW Baseball Camp link in the red "More Baseball" box on the right-hand side of the baseball page.  Please fill out both the application and medical forms and return along with a check payable to Matt Royer for the $145.00 registration.

Any questions about the camp can be directed to the baseball office at (434) 582-2103.
