Three days before Pre-Nationals, one of the biggest meets on the 2010 Liberty cross country schedule, head coach Brant Tolsma chatted with Nick Pierce about his teams' progress.

Liberty is coming off of a successful showing in the Oct. 1 Brooks Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pa. The men's team placed eighth, while the Lady Flames came in 13th. Individually, Sam Chelanga won the men's race by 15 seconds in his 2010 debut, while Jennifer Klugh broke the women's 6K school record with her 20:58 clocking.

The Flames and Lady Flames will face some of the nation's top teams and individuals Saturday, at the Pre-Nationals meet in Terre Haute, Ind. Liberty has been assigned to the women's 6K blue race at 11 a.m. and the men's 8K white race at 12:50 p.m.
