Athletic Facility Upgrades Continue With Additional Flag Poles At Hancock
The Liberty University Athletics Department efforts to give its athletics facilities an updated image continued on Thursday, August 10 as three flag poles were installed in the front lawn of the Hancock Athletic Center.

An American flag, a Virginia state flag and a Liberty Flames flag will now fly daily in front of the Hancock Athletic Center, home of Liberty's athletic administrative offices and weight room.

On August 9, six total flag poles were installed at the top of the East Side seating area with three flag poles on each of the concession stand at Williams Stadium. The flag poles will be used to display flags for football member schools in the Big South Conference, including a flag that will display the Big South's newly enhanced logo.

The remaining improvement projects to give Williams Stadium a new look for the 2006 season will be wrapping up in the next few weeks as we are nearing the completion of the Williams Football Operation Center and the installation of new FieldTurf.
