Today's "Rounding the Bases" segment features Cassie Hendrix, a junior infielder from Indianapolis, Ind.

Hendrix has started 49 games for the Lady Flames this season, all at second base. She currently leads the team and ranks fifth among all Big South Conference players with a .373 overall batting average. She also leads the team against conference opponents, batting .512 in Big South games. Hendrix recorded her first career home run on March 18 against Radford, and has homered twice since then.

Hendrix, the daughter of Robert and Shelley Hendrix, is majoring in sport management at Liberty.

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Psalm 6, because David is not afraid to say how he feels.

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
I would want to be able to run as fast as lightning, so I could do mental toughness runs in one minute, and be safe whenever I hit!

Real World/Road Rules Challenge, because I love watching the challenges.

If I were named "Coach for a Day", I would make my coaches (and why) …
I would definitely want to see Coach Wetmore do pilates.

What is your favorite vacation spot?
Gulf Shores, Ala. for the beach, and Nashville, Tenn. for the mountains.

What is the best advice you have ever received, and who gave it to you?
