Rounding the Bases with Cassie Hendrix
Today's "Rounding the Bases" segment features Cassie Hendrix, a junior infielder from Indianapolis, Ind.
Hendrix has started 49 games for the Lady Flames this season, all at second base. She currently leads the team and ranks fifth among all Big South Conference players with a .373 overall batting average. She also leads the team against conference opponents, batting .512 in Big South games. Hendrix recorded her first career home run on March 18 against Radford, and has homered twice since then.
Hendrix, the daughter of Robert and Shelley Hendrix, is majoring in sport management at Liberty.
