Today's "Rounding the Bases" segment features Meredith Baisden, a sophomore outfielder from Huntington, W. Va.

Baisden has appeared in 36 contests for the Lady Flames this season, and has started in 29 games. She has most recently served as Liberty's primary left-fielder. Baisden is batting .318 on the year with three home runs, 18 RBIs and four doubles.

Baisden, the daughter of David and Susan Baisden, is majoring in special education at Liberty.

I wanted to grow as a Christian and learn more about my Savior and I felt like God called me to be here.

Getting hit in the leg with a line drive my first year playing and laughing about it.

If you could be somebody else for a day, who would you be and why?
Coach Tuesday, so I could have red hair.

A teacher overseas in some third world country that need missions workers.

RADFORD! Because they are who we lost to in the championship last year.

If you could have one super power, what would it be and why?
To fly, so I don't have to worry about getting anywhere anymore.

The TV Show I can't live without watching each week is…
I don't watch too much TV.

If I were named "Coach for a Day", I would make my coaches (and why) …
Do the mental toughness run, because it helps them become mentally tough.

My favorite thing about being a part of the Liberty softball team is …
That we have a team full of girls with swagger and that's pretty awesome.

To get better every day and to be the optimist on the team.

Slept a bunch.

Somewhere with a beach.

To blast music in my ears and have my time with God before the game.

To breathe and relax, and I have heard that from everyone at some point.
