The summer-long projects to aesthetically improve Williams Stadium are still underway as Wednesday, August 9 saw the beginning of the newest visual change with the installation of flag poles at the top of the visiting side stands.

Six total flag poles are being installed at the top of the East Side seating area with three flag poles on each of the concession stand. The flag poles will be used to display flags for football member schools in the Big South Conference, including a flag that will display the Big South's newly enhanced logo.

The remaining improvement projects to give Williams Stadium a new look for the 2006 season will be wrapping up in the next few weeks as we are nearing the completion of the Williams Football Operation Center and the installation of new FieldTurf.
