Liberty lacrosse takes its home field for the first time in school history on Saturday, playing host to National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCCA) Division I member Anne Arundel at Osborne Stadium. The opening draw is set for 6 p.m.

The Lady Flames are coming off a tough loss to fellow NLC competitor Jacksonville on Thursday, as they fell at McCormick Field, 19-2. A pair of sophomore midfielders netted Liberty's pair of goals. Anna Starling picked up the first marker for the Lady Flames in the opening half, while Sierra Clearwater posted the second with 4:20 remaining in the contest.

Before making the trip to Lynchburg, Anne Arundel hosts Brookdale on Friday night. In their first three contests this season, the Pioneers have posted a 3-0 record, with wins over Southern Connecticut State (15-5), Shepherd (16-2) and New York State (17-4).

Freshman attacker Lauren See leads the Lady Flames in goals with nine on the season, followed by sophomore attacker Kristin Crowley, who has eight markers. Goalie Rebekah Leutters, who has 34 saves this season, is one of three Lady Flames leading the team in ground balls with seven, joining Crowley and senior attacker Karen Yates. Starling has forced the most miscues on the year, with five caused turnovers.

The Lady Flames currently own a shot-on-goal percentage of .783 (54-of-69) and a shot percentage of .449, finding the net on 31-of-69 shot attempts. Through its first four games this season, Liberty has garnered more offensive success in the second period, netting 18 of its 31 goals in the latter stanza.
