Big South Conference Reschedules Softball Games; Pushes Winthrop-Liberty Doubleheader To Tuesday
Due to inclement weather in the Southeast, the Big South Conference has rescheduled its last two softball doubleheaders of the year which pushes Liberty match-up with Winthrop to Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m.

Originally, Coastal Carolina and Winthrop were scheduled to play today in Rock Hill, S.C., while the Eagles were scheduled to travel to Lynchburg to face the Lady Flames on Monday.

Based upon weather forecasts for the Southeast, moving the Coastal Carolina-Winthrop games to Monday and the Winthrop-Liberty games to Tuesday will provide the best opportunity for both doubleheaders to be played.

The four remaining games play a key role in determining seeding for the upcoming Big South Softball Championship which will start later on this week at Radford, Va. on Thursday.
