Today's "Open Net" segment features Lady Flame Abby Austin.

Today, the "Open Net" segment spotlights Abby Austin, a redshirt sophomore from Columbia, S.C.

Austin, a forward, has appeared in four games for the Lady Flames this season. She was named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll as a freshman.

Austin is a graduate of Southern Boone County High School, where she earned first-team all-district honors and was named the team MVP her senior year.

Austin is majoring in nursing at Liberty.

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Jeremiah 29:11. I always know that whatever I'm going through, God has a plan and it does not take Him by surprise.

What has been your favorite class at Liberty and why?

Fundamentals of Nursing. I got to use what I'd learned in the hospital for the first time.
