Flames Remain in South Atlantic Region Poll

The Liberty men's soccer team remained ranked among the South Atlantic Region's top teams in the latest regional rankings, released yesterday.

The Flames were tabbed as the region's No. 10 team for the second consecutive week. Maryland continues to head up the South Atlantic Region rankings with a 5-1-1 record.

With its third straight shutout and fifth of the year last night in a 2-0 win over Longwood, Liberty moves to 5-1-1 on the season.

Liberty, 0-0-1 in the Big South, travels to Conway, S.C., this Saturday for a conference match with Coastal Carolina. The contest will be the first Big South game for the Chanticleers this season. Match time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
