The Lancers (7-3) are on a two-game winning streak after road victories over Mount St. Mary's, 4-1, on Sept. 25, and Big South member VMI, 2-1, on Sept. 27. Longwood is led by Michelle DeSieno, who has scored six goals on the year, while goalkeeper Kyra Byron has made 22 saves on the season.

Liberty is 5-2-1 all-time against the Lancers, falling in last year's contest, 2-0, on August 28 at Longwood.

Saturday's matchup with Charleston Southern marks Liberty's first conference game of the season. The Lady Buccaneers (7-3), are coming off a 3-2 win over Francis Marion on Sept. 27 in Florence, S.C.
