The fall tennis season is underway for Liberty. The men's team, led by seniors Chad Simpson and Louis Steyn, made a strong showing in the UVA Classic in Charlottesville, Va. Simpson finished third in the Flight E bracket, while he and Steyn teamed up to finish third in the Flight C Doubles bracket.

The women traveled to Harrisonburg, Va. to take part in the JMU Invitational. The Lady Flames took three flight championships, led by junior Jordan Jenkins, who won the Flight A Singles Bracket. Jenkins also teamed with junior Hannah Fick to capture the Flight A doubles title. Nadia Solomon-Burgess also captured a singles bracket.

Recently, Nick Pierce sat down with Tennis Coach Chris Johnson to recap both outings, and to preview the upcoming fall season.
