Construction crews begin putting in seating and building press box at Osborne Stadium.

On Monday, construction crews began the process of installing chair backs at Osborne Stadium, the new home for Liberty's men's and women's soccer teams and track and field programs. Once completed, the stadium's grandstand will have 1,000 chair backs in its seating area.

Last week, the wrought iron and brick fencing which surrounds the facility was completed. Crews finished the fencing Friday by installing an iron LU gate at the south entrance to the field.

In addition, crews have begun to frame the new press box which sits atop the grandstand on the eastside of the stadium. The fully functioning box will provide space for both game operations and video streaming.
