The Liberty women's soccer team will continue the 2009 season tomorrow in Johnson City, Tenn., taking on the Buccaneers of East Tennessee State. Match time is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Summers-Taylor Stadium.

The Lady Flames (0-1) are coming off a 5-0 season-opening loss to No. 14 Virginia, Friday night at Klockner Stadium in Charlottesville, Va. Maria Owen led Liberty with two shots, while freshman Lauren Stell had one. Keeper Karen Blocker made eight saves in the contest.

The Buccaneers (0-2) fell to Tennessee, 2-0, on August 22 and dropped a 2-1 decision to Western Carolina on Aug. 28. Sunday's contest against Liberty will mark their 2009 season home-opener.

East Tennessee State is led by Jordan Monty, who has scored one goal on the year and taken four shots. Goalkeeper Megan Masch has tallied nine saves and a 2.00 goals-against average.

Tomorrow's matchup marks the second all-time meeting between the two squads. Liberty won last year's contest, 3-1, on Oct. 31 in Lynchburg.
