Liberty's Jordan Jenkins has been named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) Women's Tennis University Division second team singles roster, the organization announced today.
After being selected to the 2008 all-state first team and being voted the VaSID Rookie of Year, Jenkins (Sarasota, Fla.) was named to the all-state team in singles for the second consecutive season.

A rising junior, Jenkins earned her second selection to the Big South all-conference team this past spring. She posted a 12-7 mark on the year, playing at No. 1 singles for Liberty. The sophomore went 9-2 down the stretch for the Lady Flames, helping Liberty to the best season mark in the program's history at 15-7. Jenkins went 6-1 in Big South Conference play, as the Lady Flames finished second in the league's standings for the second straight year.
