Liberty Cruises To Win at Longwood

The Liberty Lady Flames took the first five matches in singles to defeat the Longwood Lady Lancers, 5-2, in women's tennis action Friday afternoon at the Longwood Tennis Courts.

The win, Liberty's fourth-straight, moves the Lady Flames to 9-7 on the season.

After dropping the doubles point, Liberty would win five of the six singles matches contested to take the team victory, 5-2. The Lady Flames won the #1-5 singles to claim the victory.

Liberty is back in action on Sunday as they host Winthrop in a Big South Conference match. The is scheduled to begin at Noon on the Eshbenshade-Hershey Tennis Courts.
