Lady Flames Even Record With Win Over Howard

The Liberty Lady Flames won every match contested on the day to take a
6-1 victory over the Howard Lady Bison, Saturday at the Heritage High School Tennis Courts.

With back-to-back team wins, the Lady Flames evened their season record at 7-7.

The only setbacks for Liberty on the afternoon were defaults in the #3 doubles and #6 singles matches.

In doubles, the team of Jonita Randolph (Jr., Townville, S.C.) and Martyna Hanusz (So., Stalowa Wola, Poland) won at #1 doubles to claim their 10th victory of the season. The pair has posted a 10-3 mark this season.

In singles, Dina Senkina (Fr., Moscow, Russia) continued her outstanding first season by upping her season singles mark to 13-1 with a victory in #2 singles, while Randolph won at #1 singles to record her second 10 or more win season in singles in her three seasons with the Lady Flames.

Liberty moves back into conference on Tuesday afternoon as the Lady Flames host in-state conference rival Radford. The Big South Conference match is set for 3 p.m.
