LU Trails in Ninth Place in Missouri Tourney

Kansas State (574) holds a six-stroke lead over Texas-Arlington (580) through two rounds at the 2nd Annual UMB Bank-Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate Classic, hosted by Missouri, at the par-72, 7,221-yard The Club at Old Hawthorne, located in Columbia, Mo. Liberty (603) is in ninth place, 29 strokes behind the leader after play concluded on Monday.

Nathan Schenz-Davis (72-73—145) is tied for seventh and pacing the Flame five at one over par. Robert Karlsson (74-74—148) is tied for 17th at four over par, while Jacob Singleton (78-77—155) is 11 over par. Jay Calvo (81-75—156) and Preston Dembowiak (80-78—158) round out the final Liberty five.

Mitchell Gregson (67-70—137) of Kansas State and SMU's Kelly Kraft (68-69—137) lead all individuals at seven under par. Xavier's Sebastian MacLean (68-71—139) is in third place at five under par and Ben Herrera (69-73—142) of Iowa State sits in fourth place at two under par and five strokes off the lead.

Following team leader Kansas State and second place Texas-Arlington, SMU (589) holds third place down, 10 strokes off the lead. New Orleans (589) rounds out the top teams in fourth place, 15 strokes back from the lead.

The 2nd Annual UMB Bank-Mizzou Tiger Intercollegiate Classic, hosted by Missouri, will conclude with a final round on Tuesday, at The Club at Old Hawthorne.
