Flames Edged By Panthers

The Birmingham-Southern Panthers defeated the Liberty Flames, 4-3, Tuesday afternoon in Big South Tennis action at the Randolph Macon Women's College Tennis Courts.

Birmingham-Southern grabbed the doubles point by taking two of the three doubles contests on the afternoon. Braen Anerios (Sr., Panama City Panama) and Carlos Cardona (Sr., Bogota, Columbia) were the lone winners for the Flames, winning the #3 doubles match.

The two teams then split the six singles matches providing the Panthers with a 4-3 team victory. Liberty's lone dual winner was Anerios who also won his #6 singles match.

The Flames are in action tomorrow afternoon as they travel to High Point, N.C. for a Big South Conference match with the High Point Panthers. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.
