Liberty senior Amy Oberlin has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Women's Soccer Player of the Week, after leading the Liberty Lady Flames to a 3-1 victory over UNC Asheville this past weekend.

Oberlin (F/MF, Ada, Mich.) posted her first multiple-goal and multiple-point contest of the year in Liberty's first win of the season. The senior was involved in every goal and provided the game-winner with her first score, finding the back of the net in the 27th minute against UNC Asheville.

Later, she picked up a loose ball at midfield and scored an unassisted goal to put the Lady Flames up 3-0 in the second half.

The five points Oberlin totaled moved her up to third on Liberty's all-time points list with 46, and her two goals moved her into a tie for second on the school's all-time goals list (20).

Oberlin leads the Lady Flames with four goals on the season and in points with 10. She and Liberty visit Radford on Wednesday for a Big South match. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
