Liberty forward Darren Amoo

The Liberty men's soccer team continues to be listed among the South Atlantic Region's top teams in the latest regional rankings, which were released this afternoon.

The Flames, 3-1 on the season, are ranked No. 10 in this week's poll. Maryland, 4-1 on the year, tops the South Atlantic Region rankings for the second straight week.

Liberty forward Darren Amoo (R-Fr., Accra, Ghana) enters the week second in the Big South in points with eight and goals with four. Teammate Joshua Boateng (Sr., MF, Accra, Ghana) is also among the conference scoring leaders, ranking sixth with five points (two goals, one assist). In addition, freshman midfielder Juan Nino (Katy, Texas) is second in the conference with two assists.

Liberty will host the 4-0-1 North Carolina Tar Heels, ranked No. 8 nationally in this week's Soccer America poll, Tuesday night at Liberty Soccer Field. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
