Today LibertyFlames.com continues its new weekly volleyball feature, "Side Out with …" Next up is another of the Lady Flames' newcomers, freshman setter Courtney Boggs.

Boggs, hailing from Marysville, Ohio, is the most highly decorated member of this year's recruiting class, coming out of high school. Like Nicki Scripko the previous year, Boggs was tabbed a volleyball All-American by the National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA). She also recently garnered all-tournament team recognition for the age 18 National Division at the USA Junior Olympic Girls' Volleyball Championships in Dallas.

Recruited as a setter, Boggs also played as an outside hitter at Worthington Christian High School. During her senior season, she recorded 498 kills. For her career, she notched over 1,000 assists and over 1,000 kills, displaying her versatility.

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Micah 6:8 (He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.) This is how Christ lived his life, and I'm striving after his example.

What type of music do you like to listen to?
All of it. It just depends on what mood I'm in.

What is your favorite play in volleyball?
I love quick plays with the middle hitters.

What is your favorite sport to play (other than volleyball)?
Basketball.

How did you start playing volleyball?
My mom is a volleyball coach, so I've always been around the sport. But I actually hated playing it until I started playing organized volleyball in middle school.

The actress who would play me in a movie is …
Ellen Page.

What is your nickname and how did you pick it up?
Coco. One of my friends just started calling me that, and it stuck.

The most famous person I've met is …
LeBron James.

My favorite restaurant is …
all of them, but I really like Bravo.

My "Bucket List" includes …
traveling throughout Europe.
